Nitrogen generation is as easy as drying compressed air using a desiccant dryer.
Liquid N2 is converted from a liquid to a gas by warming it up through the heat exchangers.
Liquid N2 is -196˚C. Nitrogen generators can’t deliver cryogenic nitrogen.
1 litre of liquid N2 = 683 litres of gas!
Bottled N2 is only in gas form and a standard bottle contains approximately 10M3 of usable gas within a 220 bar cylinder.
Liquid and bottled gas is ALWAYS high purity, 99.999% or 10 PPM.
Typically to make N2 at 99.5% it is around 10 x cheaper to make it on site, when comparing to liquid, 15-20 x cheaper compared to bottles
